The 2025 Out100: Suzie Toot

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 17 star Suzie Toot considers herself a performance artist who loves drag for letting her “incorporate every talent that I have into one crazy, beautiful thing.” Upon realizing one of her biggest dreams — to compete on Drag Race — the tap-dancing creative is proud of the success she’s found on and off the show.

“Learning to trust myself, that I knew what I was doing, was very tough,” Toot says. “I took a lot of leaps of faith that have turned into golden experiences.” To that extent, her message to the world is to also “believe in the power of your authenticity — of man-made, real art.” In fact, “the flaws in yourself and your work are the very thing people will cherish,” she notes.

What’s next for Suzie Toot? “Touring the world!” says Toot, who also acts in the Hulu film Big Easy Queens. “All of my upcoming tour dates are available on my Instagram. Many, many other exciting projects in the works, including my short film La Dichotomie, appearing at various film festivals in 2026.” @suzie.toot
