Congrats! Spokespeople on behalf of retiring congressman Barney Frank announced today that the Massachusetts Representative, 71, is engaged to his partner of fours years, Jim Ready, 42.

Frank has spent the past 31 years (16 terms) in the House as the first openly gay congressman ever, and announced his plan to retire last November. The pair plans to marry in Massachusetts, where gay marriage was legalized in 2004.
