With IRL events slowly but surely making a comeback, there's no better way to kick off this most special time of year that by going outside, being together with friends and family from the community, and celebrating some of the best of the best when it comes to queer musical artistry! And the OUTLOUD Raising Voices Music Festival is helping the city of West Hollywood do just that!
Taking place Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 5 in West Hollywood Park as part of WeHo Pride's annual festivities, the OUTLOUD's lineup is jam-packed with some of our favorite (and legendary) LGBTQ+ artists and allies, the likes of which include Lil’ Kim, MARINA, Years & Years, Jessie J, Jake Wesley Rogers, Greyson Chance, The Aces, Madison Beer, Mo Heart, Kornbread, Cupcakke, Dorian Electra, and so many more!
"I started OUTLOUD three years ago to provide a platform for underrepresented queer artists," Jeff Consoletti, chief executive officer JJLA, the company that produces the festival, said in a statement. "This year, we are fortunate to bring the OUTLOUD experience to the City of West Hollywood to coincide with their inaugural WeHo Pride weekend celebration. OUTLOUD showcases established and emerging LGBTQ+ musicians and what better place to bring the community together to celebrate in one central location."
"OUTLOUD sits at the intersection of queer music and community. We strive to lift up-and-coming and established LGBTQ+ artists and drive programs for audiences that are looking to celebrate their artistry all year long," Consoletti told Out. "We're excited to kick off Pride Month with our Raising Voices Festival in June and continue to deliver showstopping content and live concerts all year round. Our commitment to supporting queer artists is a holistic, 365 approach, and we're thrilled to continue to extend our reach."
