Brooklyn's rising artist Boy Radio will release his debut album, Neon Romance, on August 18, but today he's began teasing followers with a pre-order link and music video for lead single, "Golden Boy." Delivering a retro-electro sound, the queer performer is a sex symbol in the making, with his towering body-ody, drooling stage presence and music that unites the best of '80s pop and lo-fi bedroom R&B.
Neon Romance spans 10 total tracks with features from Mister Wallace, Blu Mystic and Will Sheridan. The pre-order gives listeners an immediate download of album highlight, "Bad Man," which would have a happy home on Prince's 1989 Batman soundtrack, as well as Radio's more sultry, slowed cut, "Golden Boy." The latter's newly released video sees Radio sitting alone, singing lustfully against a dreamy projection of magenta roses.
