Hello Out readers!
I just got back from the Sundance Film Festival, whre I saw some incredible new movies, including some I predict will be some of your favorite queer movies of the year!
The first movie I saw at Sundance 2025 was Sophie Hyde's Jimpa, a heartwarming and healing movie starring Olivia Colman, John Lithgow, and the director's nonbinary child, Aug Mason-Hyde. It's about a mother, her gay father, and her nonbinary child, all learning to connect across generations and across sexualities and gender.
Two of my favorite movies that I saw were Bill Condon's Kiss of the Spider Woman (starring Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, and Jennifer Lopez) and Andrew Ahn's The Wedding Banquet(starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, and Han Gi-chan. Both are new adaptations of classics, and both will completely blow you away!
One of my other favorites was the documentary The Librarians, about the brave librarians who are fighting against insidious book bans that have been popping up across the U.S.A. in the last few years.
More reviews are coming, so be on the lookout for even more great films!

Gayest Song of the Week
It doesn't get much gayer than British-Liberian singer Cat Burns' new song "GIRLS!" in which she sings "I only wanna talk about girls, talk about girls/all about allour different energies, masc and femininity, love that I'm always ready to talk about girls girls girls."
