The Heated Rivalry lookalike winners are bringing heat to the ice!
Felix Eller and Aram Matagi went viral last week for winning a Heated Rivalry lookalike contest after the two men shed their shirts and kissed in front of a cheering crowd, but Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander’s doppelgängers have continued to stay in the limelight as their story turned from a frenzied public make-out sesh into a real-life fairytale.
Over the weekend, Eller and Matagi ended up plastered all over social for another public smooch when they were spotted at a Professional Women’s Hockey League game between the Montréal Victoire and the Boston Fleet.
The two men attended the game wearing Shane and Ilya’s hockey jerseys and shared a steamy kiss that made it onto the Jumbotron. Now, Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie are no longer the only ones getting sponsorships from their fame as their lookalikes were also sponsored by Uber to attend the hockey game.
While at the PWHL game, Eller and Matagi were photographed with Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, who plays Ilya's friend and occasional hookup, Svetlana.
This was the lookalikes' first major outing since they took their obvious chemistry on a test drive during their first date shortly after they beat out the other people in the contest with their striking resemblance to the hot hockey players.
"I think we were together for eight hours by the end of the date. It honestly was perfect,” Eller said in an exclusive interview with Out.
Eller and Matagi were also interviewed over the weekend by the Washington D.C. clothing store REDDz Trading, where they were asked about their outfits.
For fans who love to see Shane and Ilya in love in any and all universes, Eller admitted that the clothing he was wearing was from Matagi’s closet. Swoon!
