Bowen Yang comes out as straight & hooks-up with Sydney Sweeney in hilarious new Saturday Night Live sketch
The beloved comedian and actor wants everyone to know he's "full hetero."
Bowen Yang just dropped a huge bombshell on Saturday Night Live.
In a new sketch, titled “Bowen’s Straight,” the famous gay actor, podcaster, and comedian came out as “full hetero” before absolutely blowing Sydney Sweeney’s mind in bed.
In the sketch, Sweeney, who took on SNL hosting duties this past weekend, is talking to other cast members Heidi Gardner and Ego Nwodim when she reveals that she’s developed an embarrassing crush on Yang.
Much to her surprise, the two women encourage her.
“Bowen just plays gay on the show because it’s a shortcut to laughs,” Gardner tells her.
When Sweeney asks if that means he hooks up with girls, Nwodim enthusiastically replies, “Oh yeah, hot girls too. Bowen pulls!”
Then we see Yang making out with gorgeous actress Gina Gershawn, who he tells not to call him “babe” at work.
We believe it!
Later, Sweeney and Yang bump into each other in the hallway, where Sweeney says she’s found out that Yang is straight, and asks him his type.
“Oh you know, blonde, smart, heavy naturals,” Yang says seductively.
When he asks her her type, she says “gay presenting Asian podcasters.”
“When you get tired of laughing with the little boys, let me know,” Yang says right before a smash cut to the two of them making passionate love.
When Sweeney asks if they need protection, Yang says, “No, no, it’s fine, I’m on PrEP.”
Then, in classic straight guy fashion, Yang tells Sweeney that they can’t keep seeing each other. “Yeah, I lot going on,” he says. “Plus I got to keep up appearances with the whole ‘gay’ thing. It’s kind of my meal ticket.”
The sketch ends with Sweeney looking out the window, watching Yang get on a helicopter with two beautiful women, sadly saying, “I got played by Bowen Yang.”
