This article contains spoilers for episode 6, "The Edge of Glory," of Prime Video's Overcompensating.
Benito Skinner's new comedy series Overcompensating — in which Skinner portrays a closeted freshman on a journey of self-discovery alongside cast members Wally Baram, Mary Beth Barone, and Adam DiMarco— has some of the best and wildest guest stars on TV.

These stars include Charli XCX as herself, Lukas Gage, and James Van Der Beek. However, episode 6 features guest stars who truly leave viewer jaws on the floor.
At this point in the series, Benny is in a crisis. He's realizes the boy he has a crush on, Miles, is straight. He's also come out to his new BFF, Carmen, and he's trying to build up the courage to give being gay a real try. Carmen, the ally that she is, decides he needs a Grindr profile and starts messaging people as him. Soon, she's set him up with his first-ever official gay date.
To pump himself up, Benny talks to the Megan Fox poster he has hanging in his dorm. Surprisingly, she talks back to him, giving him the encouragement he needs. But amazingly, a moving, talking Fox isn't the most gag-worthy cameo in the episode!
After the Fox pep talk, Benny arrives at the house of his Grindr date, which turns out to be a bleached-blond Matt Rogers. Sitting next to one another on the couch, things get awkward as Benny comes off a little too hot. "I don't know if I'm a top or bottom, daddy," Benny says as he rips off his hoodie to reveal a leather harness and the sweatiest abs you've ever seen.
As Jered (Rogers's character) tries to calm Benny down, he offers a bit of empathy, saying he remembers his first crush, a guy named Davis. When Benny asks what happened, he and viewers are in for a surprise!
"Well, we fell in love and got married…" Jered says, as his husband, Davis, played by Bowen Yang, walks out of the kitchen holding a large wine glass.
At first, Benny is worried and asks if he should go. Then things get really chaotic. "No, we play together, we're open," Jered says. "So this isn't cheating," Davis adds.
What happens next is a hilarious look at the politics of an open relationship. Jered reveals that they don't talk about the sex unless the other person asks about it, in which case they must be "brutally" honest. This leads to the couple starting to fight, and when Jered yells at Davis for spilling his wine, Davis breaks the glass. "Our marriage is falling apart, but you're worried about the carpet," Davis shouts.
When Benny tries to step in a help, he's shut down, called a "closet case," and told to "get the fuck out of our townhouse."
"God, I love when you give dom-top daddy boots," Jered says to his husband.
"Yeah? You like when daddy acts a damn fool?" Davis asks.
"I fucking love it when my daddy acts a fool. God, I'm the dumbest bottom in the world," Jered says.
"You're so dumb, I bet you don't even know how to read," Davis says.
As Davis tells Jered to open his mouth so he can spit in it, Benny lets the pair know he's leaving.
"Get out!" they yell.
Of course, Rogers and Yang are known for their excellent (platonic) chemistry on their podcast, Las Culturistas, and in projects like Fire Island and Rogers's Christmas special, Have You Heard of Christmas?. So it's even more hilarious seeing them as an ultra-kinky, high-strung, non-monogamous couple.
Catch Rogers, Yang, and more fantastic guest stars on Overcompensating, which is currently streaming on Prime Video.
