Apple TV recently announced the release of a new show called Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, starring Tatiana Maslany as a recently divorced mother named Paula who "falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer," according to the show's official logline.

"Convinced she witnessed a crime – while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis – Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self," the description continues.

In the upcoming series, Maslany's character forms a connection with a person she meets online, played by Brandon Flynn.

Apple TV's 2026 press preview on Tuesday shed some more light on the show. The event featured a panel of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed creatives. Onstage, the show's lead was joined by Jake Johnson, who plays Paula's ex-husband, Karl; Jessy Hodges, who plays Karl's new wife; Charlie Hall, who portrays a fact-checker at a prestigious New York publication; the show's creator and showrunner, David Rosen; and Flynn. Hall moderated the discussion.

While the extent of Flynn's role is unclear, the press in attendance got a glimpse of the show's trailer, and Out can confirm it featured the handsome actor in a scene with little-to-no clothing.

The Apple TV had restrictions on press recording the panel. But The Hollywood Reporter reported on an exchange between Hall and Flynn about his role. "In your own words, what is a camboy?” Hall asked. “I mean, I’m an actor. That’s kind of a camboy by definition,” Flynn jokingly replied, before revealing he did research into portraying a sex worker for the (still undefined) part.

It was also announced that Murray Bartlett will be a part of the cast, but the details of his role are being kept under wraps.

Flynn came to mainstream attention for the role of Justin Foley in 13 Reasons Why. The gay actor has starred in numerous productions since, including True Detective, Ratched, and The Parenting.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed premieres May 20, and will feature 10 weekly half-hour episodes through July 15.
