The former baseball player came out as gay in Dec. 2022.

We love love!

2024 has been a great year for LGBTQ+ celebrities starting new relationships or getting married. As of Mar. 29, 2024, we have yet another pair of newlyweds to celebrate.

TJ House, a former player for the Major League Baseball (MLB), came out as gay in Dec. 2022. During his coming-out statement, House also introduced his then-fiancé, Ryan Neitzel, to the world and thanked him for being so supportive of his journey.

On Tuesday, Apr. 2, House and Neitzel shared a joint Instagram post announcing their marriage, which took place last Friday, Mar. 29. They wrote:

“It’s that can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, World Series kind of love.”

We have to stan the use of a baseball reference in this Instagram post announcing House’s marriage!

The pictures included in the Instagram carousel show House wearing a white tux with black pants, while Neitzel wore a more conventional all-black ensemble. They both looked absolutely gorgeous and seem very happy about their big day.

Also according to the Instagram post, the newlyweds’ wedding photoshoot and ceremony took place at Race + Religious — a wedding venue in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans.

Over the course of his career, House played for MLB teams like the Cleveland Guardians, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Chicago White Sox. But since retiring from baseball, he’s started a new career in real estate.

Congratulations are in order to the new couple!
