Mikey Madison is Anora, and Theo James is The Hole. Don't blame us! (But you could thank us.)
The Time Traveler's Wife, The White Lotus, and The Gentleman star Theo James is set to star in a new project that also uses a definite article in its title: The Hole, the next film by Kim Jee-woon (I Saw the Devil).
Yes, you heard it here first: James' next starring role will be in a movie called The Hole, and we can only hope that he's playing the title character.
Theo James on 'The White Lotus' season 2.HBO
As reported by Deadline, The Hole was written by Christopher Chen and is based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Hye-young Pyun. It follows Owen (James) as a "successful professor living abroad in South Korea, who is bedridden after a devastating car accident that killed his wife, Sandy," according to the synopsis.
"He is left under the care of Yuna, his Korean mother-in-law, but when she starts to unravel the devastating truth behind Owen and Sandy's marriage, and Owen himself, his road to recovery is threatened," it continues. The movie will be in Korean and English, and will also take place in both countries.
James has been a Hollywood star for a decade, breaking out as a huge star after playing Tobias "Four" Eaton in the Divergent film series. More recently, the actor made waves with his performance as the out-of-touch and rich assh*le Cameron Sullivan in season 2 of HBO's The White Lotus.
He had a few unforgettable shirtless moments and nude scenes in The White Lotus, so we can only wonder what he's going to show us in The Hole. But that's anyone's guess, really!
