The nominations for the 2024 Oscars have just recently been announced!
Once again, it’s time for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to give out its awards for the best and brightest in movies from the past year. However, if you’re like most people, you probably haven’t had a chance to see all 10 of this year’s Best Picture nominees just yet. If that’s the case, we’ve got your back.
Here’s how and where you can watch all 10 Best Picture nominees.
American Fiction
This movie about a frustrated Black author stars Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K. Brown in Oscar-nominated roles. It got a total of five nominations. It’s currently unavailable to stream, but you can preorder it at Amazon.
Anatomy of a Fall
This French courtroom drama about a woman trying to prove that she didn’t murder her husband is up for five Oscars including Best Actress and Best Director (Justine Triet is the sole woman nominated in the directing category this year). You can rent or buy it on Amazon.
Barbie
Barbie, based on the iconic doll, starring Margot Robbie and directed by Greta Gerwig is up for eight Academy Awards this year. You can watch it on Max.
The Holdovers
This Christmas comedy-drama starring Paul Giammati as a New England boarding school teacher also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Dominic Sessa. It was nominated for five Oscars. You can stream it on Peacock.
Killers of the Flower Moon
Martin Scorcese’s historical drama tells the true story of a series of murders of Osage tribe members by white men after oil was discovered on their land. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and the Oscar-nominated Lily Gladstone. You can stream it on Apple TV+.
Maestro
Bradley Cooper's biopic about legendary bisexual composer Leonard Bernstein and his wife Felicia Monealegre is up for seven Oscars. You can watch it on Netflix.
Oppenheimer
Christopher Nolan’s epic biopic is about J. Robert Oppenheimer, often credited as “the father of the atomic bomb.” It’s up for 13 Oscars – more than any other movie this year. You can rent or buy it on Amazon.
Past Lives
Celine Song’s feature directorial debut is this romantic drama starring Greta Lee and Teo Yoo. It’s up for two Oscars. You can rent or buy on Amazon.
Poor Things
Starring Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, and Ramy Youssef, this movie about a woman brought back to life after she commits suicide is up for 11 Oscars. It isn’t available online yet but is playing in theaters nationwide.
The Zone of Interest
This is a historical drama centering around a German family who lives next to the Auschwitz concentration camp, with the father working as a commandant there. It’s up for five Oscars. It’s currently unavailable to stream but is currently playing in theaters.
