This movie is looking more and more magical!

This movie’s gonna be popular!

The more we see from John M. Chu’s upcoming two-part Wicked movie, the more we’re excited for it — and that goes double for our first look at Bridgerton hunk Jonathan Bailey in his role as Fiyero!

This is one good-looking couple! The set photos show Fiyero in green and gold (two classic Oz colors) and a military uniform. Glinda is wearing a lavender ball gown and tiara, again, looking very classic Good Witch. She even has her wand! Is this a scene from the end of the film?

Back in April, we got our first glances at the film’s two stars, Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. The two women look terrific as their characters, and the big-budget costumes and sets really immerse us in the world!

Wicked Part 1 also stars Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Bowen Yang, Marissa Bode, Keala Settle, and Ethan Slater.

The film was originally slated for a Christmas 2024 release, but rescheduled to Thanksgiving.

“WICKED NEWS: We are deep into production on WICKED and everyday we get more and more excited to share with u the mischief we’ve been up to,” Chu tweeted when the release date was changed. “So… We’ve decided to get it to you all a little earlier than planned. OUR NEW RELEASE Date is NOV 27th, 2024! A little Thanksgiving treat!”

We can’t wait!
