Sir Elton John is a living icon. From his first hit single "Your Song" to writing award-winning songs for modern animated features, the singer has been at the top of the charts for much of his career. He's also become an LGBTQ+ leader, using his platform to bring awareness and funding to the HIV crisis and other important causes. But as much as we respect him for his activism, we love him for his outrageous looks over the year, which paved the way for future stars to bend and shatter fashion and gender norms to express themselves publicly -- who can ever forget his collaborations with Bob Mackie that began in the 1970s.
