Phoebe Bridgers Dresses as a Skeleton for Grammys 2021 Red Carpet

The musician also revealed her dream Grammys collaboration.

Four-time Grammy nominee Phoebe Bridgers wore her signature skeleton look on the Grammy red carpet, but she made it high fashion.

The indie rocker, who is known for wearing a black and white skeleton onesie, wore a similarly patterned dress tonight from American designer Thom Browne, matching it with a dark lipstick and silver hair. The normally simple look was tonight covered in silver and jewels, bringing in a high fashion twist.

In an interview with Guliana Rancic from E! Live From the Red Carpet, Bridgers was asked who her dream collaboration of any Grammy nominated artist was. "I'm obsessed with Chika," she quickly replied, referring to the lesbian rapper also nominated in the Best New Artist category.

"I discovered her, like a lot of people, with that viral rap that was on Twitter and I just fell in love," she added. Bridgers is referring to a 2018 viral video where Chika rapped over the beat of Kanye West's "Jesus Walks." She posted the rap on Twitter, calling him out for his politics, postiing, "a letter to Kanye Omari West. Over his own beat."

Bridgers and Chika collaborating would be epic, there's no other way to put it. They're two of the hottest artists in music right now, and putting the two genius queer women together sounds like a perfect idea.

Bridgers has four nominations this year. Apart from Best New Artist, she is nominated for Best Rock Performance, and Best Rock Song for her track "Kyoto," and Best Alternative Album for Punisher. Last month, she performed "Kyoto" and "I Know the End" on Saturday Night Live.
