A Vietnamese immigrant, Hung Vanngo has more than established himself in the beauty space. Having been sent to North America by his mother in hopes of a better life, Vanngo turned early inspiration from the likes of Kevyn Aucoin and Francois Nars into working with celebrities like Selena Gomez, Emily Ratajkowski, and Rose Byrne. Here, he walks through the tools he uses to help just about anyone get the red carpet-ready skin he's known for.

"I do an exfoliating scrub to start with a fresh canvas. I love the Lancer Polish ($15, Sephora) because there's two types -- one for sensitive skin and one for normal."
"Next, pat your skin dry and depuff the eyes with a gentle mask. I like the Klorane Smoothing & Relaxing Patches (7 sets for $24, Sephora)."
"Follow up by using a sheet mask -- I switch it up depending on my clients' skin but love the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask (6 for $95, Nordstrom). You basically leave it on for 15 minutes and then pat excess formula into the face."
"After taking that off, I use the ReFa Carat Face roller ($220, refausa.com). Take the product down onto the neck and roll upwards along the jawline, then flip it around along the orbital bone. This relaxes the muscles in your face and helps to depuff."
"Then, I usually massage a little bit of Creme de la Mer ($325, cremedelamer.com) into my hands and apply it all over the face. Use some eye cream right after -- I like using the formula by Dr. Barbara Sturm ($140, molecular-cosmetics.com)."
"I like to start the makeup with Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer ($44, Sephora) which acts like more of a serum -- it leaves the skin with a glow. If you don't like to wear foundation, you can just wear this on its own."
"Next comes foundation. For a glowing look, I mix the Marc Jacobs Shameless 24-Hour Foundation SPF 25 ($46, Sephora) with a tiny bit of his Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter ($44, Sephora). This will bring dewiness back to the skin, so it doesn't dry cakey."
11. "As an optional step, you can add bronzer for extra dimension -- I use Tom Ford Bronzing Powder ($70, tomford.com) to shade the jawline, the top of the nose, and a little on the apples of the cheeks."
"Then, I add highlighter from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit ($40, Sephora). I like it on the cheekbones, the temple, a little on the corners of the eye, the brow bone, and the inside part of the eyebrow that's closest to the nose. To finish, put a tiny bit on the chin and the Cupid's Bow of the lip."
"For pictures, it's wise to set everything so it stays in place. Grab a big fluffy brush and then apply Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder in Glow ($38, Sephora)."
"As an optional step, you can add bronzer for extra dimension -- I use Tom Ford Bronzing Powder ($70, tomford.com) to shade the jawline, the top of the nose, and a little on the apples of the cheeks."
"Finally, get extra highlight by spraying Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($48, tacha.com) once on each side of your face."
