A-Morir's Eyewear Campaign Pays Queer Homage to Pioneering Women
New York City eyewear atelier A-Morir pays homage to pioneering women in music for its new spring '17 campaign. Starring queer model Kyle Farmery, the retro kaleidoscope-like imagery references girl groups of the '50s and '60s--Shangri Las, Supremes and Ronettes--as well as the leading ladies of '80s pop, from Cyndi Lauper to Annie Lennox.

A-Morir's campaign, photographed by Jared Ryder, plays off the outrageous glamour of Studio 54-era nightlife, as Farmery models the eyewear in a classic red lip and Hollywood siren hair. This season, founder Kerin Rose Gold mixed classic blacks, tortoises and silvers with electric neons, oranges and turquoises, all of which are produced on a bespoke basis in Prince Edward Island and hand-embellished by the A-Morir team.
