Now that Jean Paul Gaultier has decided to close his ready-to-wear line, the French designer can focus on what he does best: Haute couture.
At Paris Fashion Week, Gaultier gave his audience a real feast for the eyes with a collection celebrating Paris and its nightlife. Stunning models of all shapes, size, and gender strutted down the runway with champagne flutes and cigarette in hand, high-fiving each other as they crossed paths.
The clothes paid tribute to The Palace, a legendary Parisian night club in the disco era, and displayed Gaultier's unique vision of the French woman. Watch a video the runway show on JeanPaulGaultier.com, and click here for backstage images.
