WATCH: PETA’s Hilariously Grizzly Morrissey-Scored Cartoon
If there's one thing that Morrissey sounds off on--okay there isn't just one thing--it's animal rights. It's been his cause celebre for a long time now. In his latest attempt to stop you from eating hamburgers, he's licensed his "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday" to PETA--for free no less--so they could score their latest grizzly cartoon.
Created by Anna Saunders and PETA in honor of the "Meet Is Murder" singer's 55th birthday, the short tells the story of the heavy-handedly named "Nugget," a chicken who's separated from his mother, forced to grow up in a cage, and is then slaughtered. Morrissey's bringing the video with him on his tour and it might almost make people go vegan, if it weren't so laughably cloying.
