WATCH: PETA’s Hilariously Grizzly Morrissey-Scored Cartoon

If there's one thing that Morrissey sounds off on--okay there isn't just one thing--it's animal rights. It's been his cause celebre for a long time now. In his latest attempt to stop you from eating hamburgers, he's licensed his "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday" to PETA--for free no less--so they could score their latest grizzly cartoon.

Created by Anna Saunders and PETA in honor of the "Meet Is Murder" singer's 55^th birthday, the short tells the story of the heavy-handedly named "Nugget," a chicken who's separated from his mother, forced to grow up in a cage, and is then slaughtered. Morrissey's bringing the video with him on his tour and it might almost make people go vegan, if it weren't so laughably cloying.
