M.I.A. Releases New Track ‘Bad Girls’

And she's not talking about Lynn Hirschberg—at least we don't think so

As if working on the lead single off Madonna's new album wasn't enough, M.I.A. is gearing up to release her own fourth studio album and just todaypremiered its lead single, "Bad Girls."

The re-mastered track was originally part of her 2010 mixtape, Vicki Leekx, and talk of the upcoming music video has already begun.

Pitchfork notes that the Romain Gavras-directed video for the song is set to premiere on Friday (the same day the video for Madonna's M.I.A.-featuring "Give Me All Your Luvin'" premieres.)

And if you weren't convinced that you should care about M.I.A. already, she's also scheduled to perform alongside Madge and Nicki Minaj during the Superbowl Half-time Show Feb. 5.
