Steve Jobs has died. The Apple chairman and former CEO who revolutionized personal computers and made techonology acessible and fun finally succumed to a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 56 years old.
A visionary in his field, creator of the zeitgeist, and often lauded as a "modern-day Leonardo Da Vinci", he will be greatly missed.
When speaking to the 2005 graduating class of Stanford University, Jobs says:
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do".
Words he truely lived by. May he rest in peace.
