Live-Streaming: Burberry's Spring 2012 Show

England's iconic heritage brand Burberry may be known for their rich history and classic military influences, but that doesn't mean that creative director Christopher Bailey is one to shy away from technology. Bailey has been instrumental to not only bringing a modern, streetwear aesthetic to the label, but he's seen an early adapter in terms of understanding the importance of the web for the line's continued success. In line with this philosophy, Bailey will -- for the seventh time now -- be live-streaming his spring 2012 show on Saturday June 18th, 5pm Milan time (11:00am in New York). Also, immediately following the show, you'll be able to purchase your favorite items fresh from the runway at Burberry.com. Though you won't be able to see the collection in its glorious entirety until it hits the catwalk, Bailey did hint at the good things to come: "While the collection started with our iconic heritage as the foundation, we really wanted to emphasize a feeling of artisanal and decorative pieces that have been touched by hand, celebrating craftsmanship but always with a playful element. We've taken our icons and played with texture to personalize them and give them a real character and charm by using color to highlight the intricate detail that goes in to crafting them." Classics + craftsmanship + color, eh? Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
