Hotness: Very handsome, lots of muscles, moody eyes, long hair, broken heart.

Gayness: He is a construction worker who wears plaid and clearly shaves his oft-displayed bod. Or uses a depilatory, or whatever. But he's also a werewolf, and so far they seem totally un-gay. Plus he and Sookie are surely going to get it together.

Keep him around-ness: Absolutely. He's the only one - Lafayette aside - with real muscles, and when he shags Sookie we can just cover her half of the screen.
