After one of the nastiest fashion cat fights in recent memory, Lifetime finally wrestled reality television cash cow Project Runway out of Bravo's unyielding grip (with the help of a big fat lawsuit) and the sixth season of the show is set to premiere on August 20.
Lifetime is pulling out all the stops in promoting their new all but guaranteed rating-spiking baby with a tricked out website featuring a countdown clock (31 days, 11 hours, 10 minutes, and 32 seconds to go!), bios and sketchbooks for the new crop of contestants, and mini-tours of the designers' homes to give us a little insight into their personal lives and perhaps, by extension, their fashion outlook.
Check out the clip of Christopher Straub, above, leading us MTV Cribs-style through the Minnesota abode (his accent is so full that halfway through you'll wonder if you're watching outtakes from Fargo) he shares with his partner Ronny and then say a little prayer of gratitude that in a mere four weeks we'll have Tim and Heidi back and we'll no longer have to suffer through that horrible impostor The Fashion Show because we had no other option.
