Paul Smith, Garbage Man

Sir Paul Smith deserves an award for not only ingenuity but also do-goodmanship for this conceptual trash can, a rabbit -- obviously -- who's ears light up when garbage is thrown into it. Designed for the Super Contemporary Commissions show at London's Design Museum, the receptacles will be installed for public use in Covent Garden and Holland park and should do well to heighten Londoners interest in throwing things away properly.
