WATCH: Jessie J Covers Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble”

When we first saw Jessie J's new look in her video for "It's My Party" we were like, "take a seat, Miley; this is how you do blonde;" now that we've heard her on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, Ms. Cyrus is going to have to scooch over to make room for T-Swift.

In her set for Live Lounge, the unequaled Ms. J covered Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble," doing away with all the electronic bells and whistles and doing the thing acoustic. You get a palpable sense of heartbreak and emotional torment from Jessie's cover, which is missing in more poppy original. Swift's version made me roll my eyes; Jessie's gave me chills.

Ms. J's latest album Alive is due on Monday, but has already leaked on line--seriously why even bother with release dates anymore; everything gets leaked.
