Will DC Find As Much Success With Other Female Superheroes As It Has With Wonder Woman?
As DC struggles to find its cinematic groove (Wonder Woman being the exception), the comic house has added another page-to-screen adaptation to its lineup. With Aquaman on its way this year and a slew of other films in production the brand has announced a Supergirl title is also in the works. According to Deadline, Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street, The Cloverfield Paradox) is onboard to pen the script, but other specifics are few and far between. It's expected that the events of the film will take place separately from CW series centered on the same hero as portrayed by Melissa Benoist, and it is yet unknown whether DC's resident Man of Steel, Henry Cavill, will make an appearance. Ahead of any official announcements, here are our picks to play Earth's other Kryptonian.
