MomTok is covered in rainbows!

Since coming out as bisexual during Pride Month this year, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor is enjoying every second of her reality. As a former Mormon, the model admits that she always knew she was attracted to women, so she's grateful to finally live life on her own terms.

"This is something I've known about myself since I was a little girl. To be able to openly express it out and proud has been so fulfilling and freeing. It's changed my mental health and how I show up for people. I'm just very happy right now," Taylor tells Out.

After leaving the Mormon church, Taylor has learned to truly love the skin that she's in. The star has openly discussed her divorce, previous relationships with men, and raising two young children since The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives first premiered in 2024.

Taylor has quickly evolved as the cast currently films their upcoming sixth season, and she hopes her journey of embracing her sexuality resonates with queer fans around the world.

"Don't hold back on being who you truly are. Who are you living your life for if you're not living for yourself? To rain on someone else's parade is just unnecessary. To be able to love other people, you have to love yourself. I was lost, so finding who I am, I've been able to love those around me better. You have to love yourself and you'll find so much more happiness."

Although fans don't get to see Taylor's new relationship with her girlfriend on season five of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the model is loving every second with her partner. She's dating another popular influencer, Kelsie Chesser, and the couple went official on Instagram back in July.

"I am so happy with her. I can't believe I'm out and I'm dating a girl! I have the best partner. She's been patient with me and very understanding. I really lucked out with her. All the women filming right now are very sweet and understanding as well. They're the best!"

Taylor may be embracing newfound love into her life, but she's actively distancing herself from the toxicity currently surrounding MomTok.

Fans will remember that production on season five was abruptly halted in March 2026 amid a fresh police investigation into Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. The drama intensified when a separate, leaked video from a 2023 altercation between the couple surfaced online, prompting ABC to pull Paul's upcoming season of The Bachelorette just days before its scheduled premiere.

Now, MomTok is entirely fractured as many of the women have cut ties or pulled back from their relationships with Paul. She's still slated to appear in season six of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but she's reportedly not filming with the other ladies.

"I wish the best for Taylor, but I have experienced things in my life that reflect a lot of trauma. For my own mental health, I had to take a step back and set a boundary. I wish her well. I hope she can find peace. For me to find my peace, I had to take a step back."

A premiere date for season six hasn't been announced just yet, but fans are currently binging season five of the hit show. The shortened season still gives fans plenty of content to talk about, but Taylor is happy to leave that chapter in the past.

"Season five is a different version of myself. I don't even remember season five. If I had to sum it up, I would say it's not important. It's important in some ways, but we can skip over it. Our lives are completely different. A lot happens in short increments of time. I feel lighter in a lot of ways!"

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming now on Hulu.
