RuPaul’s Drag Race has been entertaining us for over 15 years, has launched countless careers, and entered iconic phrases like “Not today, Satan” into the mainstream lexicon.
In short, the flagship show and all of its many spin-offs have become a cultural force of nature. What started as a fledgling reality TV series on Logo TV has grown over the years to be loved not just by the LGBTQ+ community but by countless people across the country.
While the entire franchise is both a commercial hit and a critical success with a record-breaking number of Emmy Award wins, people do have favorite queens they continue to root for long after they were crowned the winner of their season.
And apparently every region in the U.S. has a different Drag Race and Drag Race All Stars winner they’re obsessed with. From well-known queens like Trixie Mattel and Bob the Drag Queen to newer winners like Myki Meeks, every state has a winning queen who has stolen their hearts — and some queens are even a fave in multiple states.
To find out which RuGirls reign supreme in each state, data analytics company Go Fish analyzed Google Trends data for all of the winners of Drag Race and All Stars over the course of a 12-month period, ending in May 2026.
