This isn't it, Sexyy Red.

Rapper Sexyy Red is once again facing controversy over something she said.

Sexyy Red is known for her outlandish lyrics and outspoken personality, but this time, her use of a transphobic slur is rubbing some fans the wrong way.

In a new clip showing Sexyy Red in a car, rapping along with an unreleased track of her’s, she raps “keep a d*ck on me, they think I'm a tr*nny,” using a transphobic slur to compare herself to trans women.

This is far from Sexyy Red’s first brush with controversy. Apart from some critics complaining that her lyrics are too sexually explicit, she recently caused a stir when she said she was a supporter of former president Donald Trump.

“I like Trump,” she said on the This Past Weekend podcast. “Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first I don’t think people was f–king with him. They thought he was racist, saying little s–t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Aww baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office. We need him back because, baby, them checks. Them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.”

Sexyy Red’s trans shoutout isn’t getting the same warm reception another rapper, JT of City Girls did when she shouted out to The Girls on her song “No Bars.”

In the song, JT boasted “Bitches on my dick, pretty like a transgender/Sit this pussy on his chin in a chinchilla.”

While JT’s reference to trans women praises us for our beauty, Sexxy Red is relying on a hurtful anti-trans slur. Hopefully, Sexyy Red will change the lyrics before she officially releases the song.
