Matty Healy canāt stop being one of the worst people in the world.
Not content with making hateful comments about Black people, Asians, gay people, women, and Inuits, Healy has now added making tasteless jokes not only belittling one of the best bands in the world because they are women, but also using a classless ableist slur.

In a tweet on his burner account, Healy wrote that āI told Lucy Dacus that āBoygeniusā had inspired me and George to start a new band called āGirlr*tard.ā I donāt really hear from her that often.ā

Dacus, who makes up boygenius along with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, has since clapped back, retweeting his tweet and saying āyou donāt hear from me at all.ā
Itās honestly surprising at this point that Healy would hear from any women ever.
This is just the latest example of Healy, the lead singer for The 1975 who unsuccessfully tried dating Taylor Swift, making a complete ass of himself.
Healy, who is straight, seems to consider himself to be the best LGBTQ+ ally in the world, and he shows this by kissing other straight men on stage. Recently, he did it at a Malaysian music festival, where homosexuality is illegal. The move caused the entire festival to be canceled, leading local artists and vendors to lose out on being paid. The local LGBTQ+ community also condemned the stunt, saying it pushed āback any progress queers in Malaysia could have made in the past century.ā
After all that straight kissing, he also has complained about what he perceives as Harry Styles and Pink āqueerbaitingā their fans.
Most damningly, Healy has a history of telling misogynistic and racist jokes and anecdotes, including detailing how he likes to watch a porn site called āGhetto Gaggersā where white men have violent and degrading sex with Black women.
On the podcast The Adam Friedland Show, he also called Afro-Latina rapper Ice Spice an āInuit Spice Girlā and āa chubby Chinese ladyā while doing a racist mock accent.
It seems like Healy isnāt going to stop being an asshole any time soon.
