We love seeing Bailey getting more and more projects!

Jonathan Bailey and dinosaurs? We are so in!

We are loving all this great news for Jonathan Bailey! The Fellow Travelers star is having a great 2024 so far, with the blockbuster Wicked coming out later this year, and now, he might be signing onto another huge franchise.

Deadline has reported that Bailey is in talks to star in the upcoming Jurassic World movie alongside Scarlett Johansson.

The new Jurassic World film will leave behind other Jurassic franchise stars like Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as the stars of the original trilogy like Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill.

In addition to Johansson and Bailey, the creative team behind the film includes screenwriter David Koepp and director Gareth Edwards.

Edwards is known for big-budget sci-fi films like 2014's Godzilla, 2016's Rogue One: A Star WarsStory, and most recently The Creator.

There are also other, more nebulous rumors that say Rustin star and Oscar-nominee Colman Domingo is also being eyed for a starring role in the film. Dev Patel has also been mentioned as a potential star. However, both Patel and Bailey are gorgeous men and brilliant actors with beautiful brown eyes and amazing accents, so the role that Patel was said to be up for might be the same one Bailey is circling.

Last year, Bailey starred in the historical miniseries Fellow Travelers opposite Matt Bomer, for which he was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award. Next up, he's starring in Wicked Part I, which will come out later this fall on November 27.

In Wicked, Bailey plays Fiyero alongside Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba, Ariana Grande's Glinda, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, and Ethan Slater as Boq.
