Not even the 2025 Met Gala — with the theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" and the dress code "Tailored for You" — has A$AP Rocky afraid of spilling a few family secrets.

As one of the Met Gala cochairs this year, rapper A$AP Rocky was interviewed by Teyana Taylor and Saturday Night Live's Ego Nwodim for Vogue. After explaining that he designed the outfit he was wearing, Nwodim pivoted, and asked a question about one of the Rocky's cochairs. "Okay, but your grandmother has a crush on Colman Domingo, and I wanna know what that's about," Nwodim asked.
"Yo, I feel some type of way about that! He stole my whole grandmother. She's in love with him," Rocky laughed. "She told me, she was like, 'Look, that's my boy, I don't care if he's married. I'mma take him from his husband.'"
Rocky said that he "had to" try to get a shoutout or selfie from Domingo for his grandmother at the event, reiterating that he's lost his grandma forever to the Rustin and Sing Sing actor."It's over," Rocky declared.
Nwodim added, "After grandma gets Colman, there's no turning back? Okay, I understand. I get it."
In an April story with Vogue, Rocky revealed that he "was a grandma's boy kind of kid," and that his grandmother, Cathy, was his best friend growing up. In that same interview, he also revealed his grandmother's crush on two-time Oscar nominee Colman Domingo. "I love him," Cathy said.
We get it, Ms. Cathy!
