RuPaul's Drag Race season 12 finalist Gigi Goode publicly opened up about being trans and nonbinary in August 2021. At the time, Goode announced that she had started her transition process around January 2021 with hormone replacement therapy.

Now, the Drag Race alum has taken another giant leap in her journey. This past Sunday (October 2), Goode shared her brand-new driver's license with an updated legal name and gender marker.

According to the document, the season 12 star is now legally named Gigi Goode and has updated her gender marker to female. She shared a picture of her new driver's license alongside a smiling face with tear emoji.

Many former Drag Race contestants took the comments to congratulate Goode. Among them, Kylie Sonique Love, Kerri Colby, Laganja Estranja, Bosco, Gottmik, Jinkx Monsoon, Daya Betty, Aquaria, Detox, Trinity The Tuck, Eureka O'Hara, Raja, Denali, Rose, and Nina West all commented with emojis celebrating Goode's accomplishment.

Other celebrities who congratulated Goode include Karamo Brown, Arisce Wanzer, Miss Benny, Leland, King Princess, Quinn Whitney Wilson, and Todrick Hall, to name a few.

This is a huge deal for Goode - and we couldn't be happier for the Drag Race superstar!
