'Over The Rainbow' at Praz-Delavallade
Much has changed for the LGBTQ community across 60 years, from legal strides toward equality to greater social tolerance. A new group show at Praz-Delavallade's new Los Angeles location highlights this transformation with art by LGBTQ artists, whose work reflects the discrimination, persecution and, occasionally, celebration that queers have long experienced throughout the world. Called Over The Rainbow, after Judy Garland's Wizard of Oz classic, the exhibition features everyone from Tom of Finland to John Giorno and Robert Mapplethorpe, and will be on view through August 26.
