Although our tears have long dried following Raf Simons' decision to quit Christian Dior, the French fashion house doesn't seem to be racing to find a new creative director for its women's collections.
According to WWD, Dior "is said to be taking its time in its search for a successor to Simons, confident the house can continue its expansion drive in the interim without a star designer."
Dior announced that its new creative director won't be installed until next year, and added that its next two collections (spring 2016 haute couture and fall 2016 ready-to-wear) will be designed by its in-house team in the meantime.
Last month, Simons explained his decision to leave Dior saying he wants to focus on his eponymous menswear label, which will show its fall 2016 collecton at Paris Fashion Week in January.
