The Tony Award Nominations Are Here

'Hadestown' musical leads 73rd Annual Tony Award nominations.

The Tony Award nominations were announced Tuesday morning, and — hey, look at that! Judith Light’s getting her own special award. Good for Judith Light.

Anyway, the Tony noms are here. Anaïs Mitchell’s Greek myth-inspired musical, Hadestown, leads the pack with 14 nominations total. Other potentially big winners include the Dominique Morisseau-penned Temptations jukebox musical, Ain’t Too Proud, and David Yazbek and Robert Horn’s Tootsie musical adaptation, which are up for 12 and 11 categories, respectively.

Check out the full list of nominations below, and tune in to the 73rd Annual Tony Awards on CBS June 9, hosted by James Corden, to see Judith Light be great.
