Come on, season 15 - let's get sickening!
Today, VH1 officially announced that season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race and a new season of Untucked are both coming to our TVs in 2023. This herstoric season of Drag Race will feature the 200th episode in the series - a landmark achievement for a show made by queer people and centered around LGBTQ+ contestants.
RuPaul said in a statement:
"When I hear season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race, I have to pinch myself - I just won't tell you where. We never take for granted the opportunity we've been given to showcase drag excellence and tell authentic queer stories. Thank you to the fans, World of Wonder, VH1, our cast and crew, and most of all, our brave and beautiful queens."
This latest news comes on the heels of RuPaul's Drag Race being nominated for a whopping 11 Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022. The show is once again dominating the reality TV categories such as Outstanding Competition Program, Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program, and Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program, among others. The Untucked companion series has also been nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.
Fans can now look forward to another US season of Drag Race in 2023 - officially!
