Drag Race Philippines Drops Electrifying First Teaser Trailer

Drag Race Philippines Drops Electrifying First Teaser Trailer

Drag Race Philippines

These 12 Filipina queens are ready to slay Drag Race.

"May the best bakla win!"

It's finally here! The long-awaited first season of Drag Race Philippines is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, August 17 - and the first teaser trailer of the series has been released.

In this first-look trailer, fans can see various scenes from the 12 queens competing on Drag Race Philippines as well as certain confessional looks. The video also shows host Paolo Ballesteros in drag on the main stage and out of drag in the werkroom.

You can watch the first full trailer for Drag Race Philippines below.

This Drag Race trailer shows that these queens will be giving their all in maxi challenges that involve dancing, lip syncing, comedy, modeling, and perhaps even a variety show. Overall, the production value for Drag Race Philippines looks insanely high despite this being the first-ever season of the series. Ballesteros also looks very natural guiding the contestants as if he's been hosting Drag Race for many years - which is a treat to see!

Unfortunately, recurring judges Jiggly Caliente and KaladKaren weren't featured in this trailer, but producers are probably saving their interactions for the actual episodes. Meanwhile, extra special guest judges have been announced to join the judging panel of Drag Race Philippines, such as fashion photographer BJ Pascual, comedian and actor Jon Santos, and designer Rajo Laurel.

Fans couldn't be more excited about the premiere of Drag Race Philippines. Start your engines, kitty girls!

The first two episodes of Drag Race Philippines premiere Wednesday, August 17 on WOW Presents Plus.
