At Friday night's HBO event "Speakeasy 451," supporting the upcoming Fahrenheit 451 film starring Michael B. Jordan, queer activists turned out to support young artists fighting the conception of the dystopia presented in the film.
Fahrenheit 451 is adapted from the novel by Ray Bradbury, and tells the story of an alternate universe where books have been banished. It's streaming now on HBO.
Activists present at the culmination of the three-day promotional event included Mykki Blanco, Rain Dove, Chella Man, and Bosco. Take a look at the guests in the following slides.
