Keahu Kahuanui of Teen Wolf fame will appear as a series regular on the next season of The Originals. He will star as Eddie, the human boyfriend of vampire Josh (Steven Krueger).
This is old hat for Kahuanui, who played a gay teenager on Teen Wolf and was the love interest of werewolf Ethan (out actor Charlie Carver).
In season four of The Originals, Josh is recovering from the loss of his own werewolf boyfriend, Aiden (Colin Woodell). Josh must deal with the grief and aftermath, and finds comfort in Kahuanui's Eddie.
