It's that time again; the time that everyone waits for. Yes, you guessed it: the nominations for the now-annual Pornhub Awards are out. And as expected, those named are pretty hot.
The Pornhub Awards is the only porn award show that is entirely data driven. The platform uses algorithms to track searches and views, so it's you, the fans, and your actual habits that get to pick the winners. And if your habits don't line up with your stated favorites, there's a whole selection of fan-selected categories that you can help sway the numbers on instead.
This year's award show will be December 15 at 7pm EST and will be entirely digital given the pandemic. The show will be livestreamed so fans around the world can watch and enjoy.
Guest presenters and performers include legendary filmmaker John Waters, Violet Chachki, Jordan Firstman, TOMMY CASH, Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeney, City Girls, Dee Nasty, and Ozuna.
Waters, for one, is proud to take part. "Good filth on-demand is what we all need to stay home and be sexually safe and socially distanced in this obscene pandemic," Waters told Page Six, "Giving a Pornhub Award seems like a civic duty to me."
And there's certainly quite the lineup of awards. Among the selection, organizers have broken out categories for queer and trans talent specifically.
In the Most Popular Trans Performer category, beauties such as Natassia Dreams,, Chanel Santini, Bailey Jay, Natalie Mars, Domino Presley, Daisy Taylor, and Aubrey Kate are nominated.
Most Popular Gay Male performer is a stacked category with stars like Rocco Steele, Diego Sans, Austin Young, Max Konnor, and Austin Wolf battling it out.
In the Top Lesbian Performer (which does not necessarily mean all these lesbians are tops) performers like Jenna Sativa, Darcie Dolce, Lilly El, Vanessa Veracruz, and Scarlit Scandal are nominated. There's also categories like Top Daddy (Cutler X, Max Konnor, and more make the cut) as well as and Top Twink Performer (Joey Mills, Johnny Rapid, and Adam Awbride among others).
One of the best parts though is that LGBTQ+ performers are not only nominated in their breakout categories but also in the overall ones. Trans legend Natalie Mars is nominated in the Top Lesbian Perforner category, and Triplextransmanxxx is nominated in Top Daddy.
Several gay and bi male performers are also nominated for overall awards. Matthew Camp is nominated for Most Popular Male Newcomer, Wolf Hudson for Most Popular Male Performer by Women, and Cutler X, Rafael Alencar, and Max Konnor are all nominated for Top Big Dick,.
