Brie Larson Looks Epic in First Captain Marvel Trailer

The first trailer for Captain Marvel is out, and it does not disappoint. Brie Larson, who's playing the role of Captain Marvel, looks like a goddamn god.

Set in the late 90's, as made evident by Captain Marvel crashing into a Blockbusters, the Captain seems unclear of exactly where she is from and which of her memories are real.

The trailer doesn't have the usual levity of most of Marvel's films. No clever remarks. No jokes. Just Brie Larson kicking ass. And while it's unclear exactly how Captain Marvel will lead-in to the battle with Thanos, we can't help but assume that Thanos will somehow be involved, thanks to the post-credits scene in Infinity War where Nick Fury sends a distress page to Captain Marvel before disappearing into thin air.
