But she won’t stop creating.

Ahead of the premiere of her documentary, Gaga 5'2", at the Toronto International Film Festival, Lady Gaga held a press conference where she said: "I'm going to take a rest."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, She was quick to add that this rest wouldn't be an artistic standstill for her. "It doesn't mean I won't be creating," she said, "It doesn't mean I don't have something up my sleeve."

Gaga has been going nearly non-stop since her Super Bowl performance earlier this year, having done press and promotions for her Joanne album and its accompanying tour. The singer said she needed to "slow down for some healing. Because that's important." Like all of her fans and the millions of people who watched her, Gaga knew that her Super Bowl show was a major milestone in her career. "This is my most important and favorite thing I do, is to entertain people and to make them happy," she said.

Now, with Gaga 5'2", fans will get a personal look into the time between ARTPOP, which was met with very mixed reviews, and Joanne, where Gaga reimagined her artistic sound all over again. The doc, which premieres on Netflix September 22, also touches on the singer's chronic pain affliction that once caused her to cancel final shows during her Born This Way Ball tour when she needed surgery. "It's ok... It's hard. But it's liberating too," she said at the presser.
