Frances Bean Cobain Pens Letter to Kurt on His Would-Be 50th Birthday

In honor of her father Kurt Cobain's would-be 50th birthday, Frances Bean Cobain has penned a letter to her dad and shared it on Instagram. Read the note, below:

The Nirvana legend was found dead in his Seattle home at age 27, on April 6, 1994, when Francis Bean was just a baby.

Cobain is making a name for herself outside of her father's shadow, having recently announced she'll be the new face of Marc Jacobs:

I first met Frances Bean when she was 2 years old at a dinner with her mom (Courtney) and Anna Sui in 1994 at Bar Six in NYC. I have always wanted to work with Frances. Her beauty, uniqueness, and strength is something I have long admired and respected. Few things remain as constant as my continued inspiration from those whose honesty, integrity, courage, and curiosity lead them to explore and venture beyond preconceived boundaries.
