As someone who has been to the Harry Potter theme park three times, I understand why fans would want to fully immerse themselves in their favorite franchise. Who doesn't want to sip Butterbeer and walk through a Hogwarts where the portraits on the wall actually move?
But I don't really understand the appeal of The World of The Hunger Games, Dubai's new Jennifer Lawrence-approved theme park. A section of the Motiongate Dubai park, The World of The Hunger Games attempts to transport tourists into a dystopian world where Stanley Tucci and a bunch of drag queens watch children kill each other for entertainment. On second though, I get the appeal. The attractions include the Capitol Bullet Train roller coaster, the Hall of Heroes, and the Panem Aerial Tour.
