Watch: Anne Hathaway and James Corden Rap Battle
James Corden may not be the king of late night (yet) but he's certainly holding his own with sketches like Carpool Karaoke and now "Drop the Mic."
In its inaugural segment on The Late Late Show, Alice: Into the Looking Glass star Anne Hathaway goes head-to-head with Corden in a no-holds-barred sound off. While the segment was obviously rehearsed - because no one can freestyle that well, least of all Hathaway or Corden - the digs were so career-spanning and pointed for Hathaway that it sounded like Corden was reading Facebook comments.
While Corden has an entire IMDB page of material, Hathaway has to keep her jabs limited to his relative anonymity in the U.S. before his hosting gig started (and still?), and everything he's gotten up to since he started. You know what they say, if you can't laugh at yourself, you probably shouldn't participate in a late-night rap battle.
