Lady Gaga to Sing National Anthem at Super Bowl 50

Lady Gaga is mounting a slow takeover of 2016 with a Golden Globe win, a new album, an Oscar nomination and (another) performance, and a David Bowie tribute at the Grammys. Adding to the Lady's busy schedule: the "Star-Spangled Banner" on the biggest stage of the year, Super Bowl 50.

Actress Marlee Matlin will accompany Gaga by performing American Sign Language during the national anthem in Santa Clara, California's Levi's Stadium, where the Denver Broncos will play the Carolina Panthers.

Judging from her love of Whitney Houston--and the late singer's indelible mark upon the national anthem--I fully expect Gaga to do show up in a headband and patriotic track suit.
