After postponing her Unbreakable tour for unknown health reasons, Janet Jackson has broken her silence in response to rumors that she has throat cancer.
In late December, Janet announced that she would be postponing her first tour in four years to have surgery.

As is typical with the pop diva, she wasn't too forthcoming on the details, which sent the rumor mill a-swirling.
To set the record straight, the 49-year-old icon released a video via Twitter, featuring the song "The Great Forever" from her latest LP, followed by a note to fans:
Remember...believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I am recovering. My doctor's have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.
