After Viola Davis's historic Emmy win on Sunday, Taraji P. Henson (who was also nominated for her role as Cookie on Empire) was caught on camera expressing absolute joy. Henson sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday to discuss her thoughts on the subject of Davis' win, saying, "I just thought to myself...just please give it to one of us, so we will never have to say [no black woman has won in this category] again. ...Let's just break this barrier down and just keep on pushing."
Ellen tried to get Henson to share what she would have said during her speech, but she refused. Next time!
